Shades of Grey... Portraits in Graphite
I have been pursuing art in many forms for as long as I can remember. With the exception of a few art classes taken sporadically, I’m a self-taught artist.
My art explorations have taken me to many wonderful and exciting places in art: I have sculpted, created works in mosaic, I’ve painted in oils and acrylics and now watercolor.
At one time, I was highly intimidated by portrait drawing; then I discovered that I could actually draw portraits!
Unfortunately, life always seemed to get in the way of my artistic pursuits, so I was forced to put it on the back burner and work an actual job in order to support my family.
Now that I am retired, I have the time to devote to my artistic pursuits.
